Hitch Install for 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Regarding Fascia Trimming
Published 01/25/2022 >
Question:
Will I have to trim the fascia or remove it to install the curt hitch for my 2022 Toyota Highlander?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you will need to remove the fascia and then trim it to replace it after the install of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C45CR.
Install will take about an hour, there is NO drilling holes required.
You will need to remove and trim some of the underbody/fascia to have a proper fit.
If you have a spare tire that is over 18 inches you will not be able to store it underneath anymore as the hitch receiver will not allow for it to be replaced. However if you have a spare tire under 18 inches it will fit.
