Can Hitch Ball be Torqued On Ball Mount that is Installed in Vehicle Hitch

Question:
Hi, Is it okay to torque 250 the hitch ball while installed on the car? Because i don’t have bench vise to hold it. I have proper torque wrench and socket for it. I am worried it might bend something on hitch receiver on the car.

Yes you can torque the nut of the Curt hitch ball part # C40034 to 250 ft lbs with the ball and ball mount installed in the vehicle's hitch.
