Question:

Hi, Im trying to find a hub that will fit my trailer. The closest this I have found is item # AKIHUB-545-35-K. Everything matches up except for the inner bearing. The inner bearing inside diameter on my trailer 1.375 LM48548. The inside diameter of the bearing on your website is 1.378 L68149. I would like to know if .003 is a problem or if you have a better recommendation. Thanks for your help. Many thanks,

I have a solution for you, but we do not have any hubs that are compatible with the item # LM48548 inner bearing that you currently have. .003 is a tiny difference but that can still cause problems down the road so I do not recommend replacing your hub with the etrailer Trailer Idler Hub Assembly item # AKIHUB-545-35-K. You could continue to use your old hubs and simply replace the bearings. The inner bearing is item # LM48548 and for the race you'll want the Replacement Race for LM48548 Bearing item # LM48510. If you would send in the information on your outer bearing I could find a replacement for it and most likely a kit that will have all the components needed.

Another option you have is to replace your axle's and upgrade to a more common dimension profile so you can use the parts like the etrailer Trailer Idler Hub Assembly item # AKIHUB-545-35-K you were referring to.
