Does Draw Tite Hitch for 2022 Acura MDX Require Fascia Cutting to Install

Question:
Hi Expert, I am planning to DIY installing the Draw Tite Class III Receiver Hitch - 2022 Acura MDXinch on the 2022 Acura MDX base model. I have a question about that do I need to cut the bumper protector Plastic to fit the trailer hitch? It seems like an easy DIY project and just like tightening 6 bolts to the frame without any cutting. If yes cutting is required, can you recommend any model that doesnt require cutting? One last silly question from my wife, Is it installing aftermarket void the MDX manufacturer warranty? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Draw Tite Hitch part # DT42MR that you referenced does require fascia cutting to install. It basically just bolts up in place like you mentioned. It also would not void the hitch warranty either.
