Question:

Will the Draw-tite hitch give me more ground clearance than the Curt or e-trailer hitch? I hate to cut the plastic bumper trim if it isnt gaining anything.

The difference between the Draw-Tite # DT42MR and the etrailer # e27KR and Curt # C22HR trailer hitches for your 2023 Acura MDX is actually the amount of rear clearance as opposed to ground clearance. Ground clearance is the same between these hitches but the Draw-Tite juts out a little more with the design which is why there is some fascia trimming. Because of this I recommend going with the etrailer because it has the same design as the Curt (no fascia trimming) but it also has a matte black powder coat which is more durable than the standard glossy black we see on the Curt.
