Will installing the etrailer hitch e89YR have any effect on the hands-free liftgate of my 2022 Ford Escape?

With the etrailer # e89YR hitch installed, the receiver tube will block the sensors in the middle of the bumper, but if you wave your foot several inches to the right or left of the receiver, the sensors will pick up the movement and operate the liftgate. You might need to hunt around a bit until you find the sweet spot, but the liftgate will still work.
