Recommended Trailer Tongue Jack for Keystone Passport Ultra Lite

Question:
I have a keystone 28 including the tongue, ultra lite passport pull behind trailer. What electric jack do you recommend.

Expert Reply:
The trailer tongue jack is chosen based on weight but most electric options far exceed the weight of a travel trailer. That said, the weight capacity of the jack only needs to exceed the tongue weight of the trailer, not the actual full weight. The Electric Jack w/ Footplate part # EJ-3520-BBX is what I recommend, just bolt the jack to the frame/coupler using three bolts then attach the power wire to the battery. It has a 3,500 lb rating which is more than enough.
