Question:

Your base plate for 2013 honda crv will it fit my unit with fog lights. Also i have your splash shield bracket in my commander tow bar. Any interference issues with that. Have everything with the unit except base plate.

The Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519328 is confirmed to fit all models of the 2013 Honda CR-V. I have included a picture of this baseplate kit installed on a CR-V that has fog lights. You can see in the photo that the baseplate kit does not interfere. As long as the splash shield you have works with your Commander tow bar # DM9511012 then you will not experience any issue with the base plate kit either.

Just to be sure you have everything needed to flat tow your CR-V I have included the other necessary parts that haven't already been accounted for:

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # RM-152-1676-7. Allows you to connect your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to your towed Honda CR-V's lighting system.

Supplemental Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This system applies the towed vehicle's brakes in proportion to the braking action of your RV.

You may also need a high-low adapter. I have included a help article that goes over how to determine if an adapter is needed. I have also linked out selection of high-low adapters so you can select the correct adapter if it is determined that one is needed. Finally, you always want to consult the owners manual for your CR-V to ensure you are following all recommendations and requirements from the manufacturer for flat towing.
