Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster Bulb and Socket Set for Tail Light Wiring Kits. This set includes two bulbs and two sockets, designed to work with Roadmaster's Tail Light Wiring Kit. Each socket has a three-wire design that would easily connect to the Roadmaster Wiring Kit. With these installed in your vehicle, along with a wiring kit from Roadmaster, it's going to allow you to use your towed vehicle signal lights without tapping into the towed vehicle's wiring system. This is going to be ideal for flat towing applications. When installing this, you will need a one inch diameter hole for the installation and around two and a half inches of available space inside the tail light assembly for these to install without harming any other components inside the assembly due to the heat that these will produce. If you ever need to replace a bulb, it uses a 1157 double filament bulb.

I also recommend using some type of sealant around the mounting area to keep dirt and moisture away from the internal components of the tail light assembly. We do offer some sealant here at etrailer.com. You can check out the related items on this product's page to see the options there. When it comes to the wiring, your black wire's going to be your ground wire. Your brown wire is for the running lights and your red wire is for the brake and turn signals.
