Between the Firestone Air Bags # F4174 and SuperSprings SumoSprings # CSS-1125R for your 2012 Toyota RAV4 I would choose the Firestone Air Bags. The Air bags are adjustable and allow you to dial in the ride quality when you have your trailer attached. This will allow you to improve the ride when you are hauling while also having less effect on your ride quality when unloaded.
Since you are only looking for decreasing your sag when you are towing the best thing you can do is use a weight distribution hitch like the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET. This system will allow you to level your suspension while you are towing and will not have any effect on your ride quality whey you are not. You can also use it on different vehicles and trailers as long as the trailer falls into the weight restrictions of the hitch. This particular hitch is for trailers with a tongue weight of 200-600lbs and a maximum trailer weight of 6,000lbs. This hitch system will also help to eliminate trailer sway that you may experience. That is something air bags and SumoSprings cannot help with.
The Equal-i-zer hitch will include a 2" hitch ball for this kit but you will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the ball.
If you need help selecting the correct weight distribution hitch for your trailer please let me know what trailer you have and any weight specification that you have on it.
