Recommended Solar Panel For Battery Maintaining While RV Is In Storage

Question:
I am considering a solar charger to maintain my 2 coach house batteries while it is in storage. It appears that the OptiMate Solar Duo Portable Solar Panel with Controller - 10 Watt Solar Panel would fit my needs. However my coach is under cover, and a tree partially blocks the sun to the front windshield. The back window would be ideal. I could suction cup it to the window which would protect the unit from weather and theft. However, the distance from the window to the batteries is 26. Is there an extension cord that would work with this solar charger? Also, will the solar panel charge two batteries simultaneously? Any other suggestions?

We don't currently offer extensions compatible with the OptiMate Solar Duo Portable Solar Panel with Controller - 10 Watt Solar Panel # MA69JR. For the panel to charge both batteries they would just need to be wired in parallel.
To make your life easier I recommend going with the Go Power Eco Solar Charging System with Digital Solar Controller - 20 Watt Solar Panel # 34273837. This solar panel comes with 25' long connectors and has multiple sizes of extensions. This panel doesn't come with a suction cup mount but can be mounted to something else further out away from any trees or other items to ensure you can get an unobstructed view of the Sun. This panel is going to offer twice the wattage for a comparable price. This panel is known for being a great for trailers or boats that are stored for months at a time.
You can us the Go Power MC4 Output Cable with Male and Female Connectors - 15' Long # 34279532 to get 15' further out from your trailer and the Go Power Solar Cable Entry Plate with Red and Black MC4 Cables - 25' Long # 34273843REVA to connect to and then run the wires to the solar charge controller. This system will also charge your batteries if wired in parallel.
