Good question, and the limited lifetime warranty means that the warranty covers any workmanship or defect in materials as opposed to standard wear and tear for the etrailer Cargo Bag with Mounting Straps # e98990.

So if there is any issue with the cargo bag not caused by general use, the Cargo Bag # e98990 is covered under warranty. Basically, when a lifetime warranty is "limited" it is so someone doesn't use a product heavily for a number of years and point to some wear and demand a replacement.
