Good question, and the limited lifetime warranty means that the warranty covers any workmanship or defect in materials as opposed to standard wear and tear for the etrailer Cargo Bag with Mounting Straps # e98990.
So if there is any issue with the cargo bag not caused by general use, the Cargo Bag # e98990 is covered under warranty. Basically, when a lifetime warranty is "limited" it is so someone doesn't use a product heavily for a number of years and point to some wear and demand a replacement. It really means when you get the cargo bag, you are guaranteed to get a bag that is going to be well-made, without any issues whatsoever.
This is an excellent choice for a cargo bag, as it is PVC-coated so water won't get through, and is simple to tie-down with its integrated mounting straps. You can also protect your gear inside the Cargo Bag # e98990 by adding a padlock for the zippers, the Master Lock # 131D.
