Question:

I am looking for a power jack to fit my keystone 17 ft camper that will allow me to lower the tailgate of my ram 1500 with a weight distribution hitch. Thanks

Most jacks, like the Stromberg Carlson # JET-3755, will allow you to open up the tailgate on your truck if you rotate the the trailer jack. Most people mount the trailer jack so that the controls face the direction of travel but there is nothing wrong with having the jack face a different direction.

The Stromberg Carlson jack mentioned above is one of our smaller jacks so you can definitely go that route, or you could go a completely different direction by using the Trailer Valet JXC Trailer Jack w/ Footplate # TV94FR which is a shorter manual jack, but it comes with a drill bit that you can use with a power drill to raise and lower the trailer.
