Is Anything Else Needed For The Stealth Trailer Hitch with Towing Package SH85VR On A 2017 BMW X5

Question:

I am just curious if this package includes everything required in the way of wiring? I have a 2017 BMW X5 Diesel and am looking for a kit to tow my ski boat that weighs around 3500-4000 pounds. There are no brakes on the trailer, and its a simple 4-pin connector. Also, does this include installation instructions in the kit? Sorry for the questions, this is the first SUV I have ever purchased without a factory tow package.

As to the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH85VR on your 2017 BMW X5 Diesel, it will work perfectly. From what I could find, your X5 is rated to tow up to 5,952 pounds so you will have no issues using the # SH85VR to tow your ski boat

This includes everything needed to wire up a 7 Way trailer plug, but it does also include a 7 Way to 4 Way adapter. It really is a one stop shop and no other parts will be needed.

Instructions for both the hitch install and the wiring will be included with the hitch, but I did also include an install video we did on a 2017 X5 for you to check out as well. It will definitely help if you are planning on doing this yourself.
