Most hitches stick out, but this one keeps things clean. The cross tube sits behind the bumper, and both the ball mount and 2" receiver detach without tools. When you’re done towing or hauling, remove the attachment and pop in the hitch plug for a smooth, factory-style look. Nothing hangs below the bumper, and the foot-activated trunk sensor still works like normal.
With this setup you’re ready to tow a small trailer or carry gear on a rack. The included ball mount handles up to 8,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 800 lbs tongue weight, while the 2" receiver attachment supports racks or cargo carriers up to 600 lbs tongue weight. Both lock securely into a sturdy stainless steel center block that keeps movement to a minimum when starting and stopping.
Switching from towing to hauling is fast and simple. Each attachment slides into place and clicks into the center block automatically—no tools required. An integrated lock secures it until you release it with the included key. When not in use, stow the pieces inside the vehicle so nothing is left exposed to dirt or weather.
This hitch is designed to last through years of towing and travel. The stainless steel build resists corrosion, while a black powder coat finish adds another layer of rust protection. It meets SAE J684 towing safety regulations and uses existing connection points for a bolt-on install that doesn’t affect ground clearance or your vehicle’s crumple zones.
Everything needed for basic trailer lighting is in the box. The kit includes a 7-Way blade-style connector that mounts beneath the hitch along with a direct-to-battery wiring design that prevents overloading your vehicle’s electrical system. A 7-Way to 4-Way adapter is also included so you can easily connect different trailer types when you’re ready to tow.

Its a fantastic hitch which we use extensively towing, bike rack. And the best thing about it: It disappears entirely when you dont need it!
Great idea but now my key won’t unlock the hitch so it has become a permanent fixture. I would not purchase this item again because of this problem

This receiver is meant to be taken off when not towing. I would not leave it on most of the time. Are you having trouble with the key fitting in or coming out? Or are you having trouble getting the receiver to come out? Either way, I would lubricate the keyhole and around the receiver heavily and gently wiggle back and forth to try and get it unstuck.
If you do not want to see an unsightly trailer hitch then this is the product for you. I've used both a bike rack and trailer hitch and they worked flawlessly. They are easy to engage and disengage from the receiver. I had an independent BMW repair shop install the product and it took them 4.5 hours vs. the reported 2.5 but I've come to expect that they always seem to take longer than expected. (could be the repair shops way of making a little extra money). The only item that is a little challenging is the trailer light hook-up (since it tucked under the rear fascia). All in all I rated the product with 5 stars because I love the fact that when the hitches aren't engaged you can't even see that there is a hitch on the truck.
I was very impressed with the quality of the hitch and especially the welds. The kit looks amazing and can be installed by one person. Although the stealth hitch is not cheap it is a great product and worth ever penny. I would recommend this hitch to everyone.
