Question:

2019 Tesla Model 3 If I were to purchase a Kuat Sherpa 2.0 for use with my stealth hitch 2, would it be recommended to use a Hitch Riser Adapter? The stealth hitch receiver rides fairly low and it looks like the Sherpa would just extend out straight from there, making it likely to hit the ground if the car went up an incline. If a riser is recommended, what length and height? I note there are several possibilities on the etrailer site. Thanks.

I checked with Kuat, and they specify not to use any type of hitch extension or adapter with the Sherpa 2.0. So I can't recommend using one, but if you take a look at the dimensions I provided for the rack, you can see that the platform does have a good amount of rise from its shank. So unless you were going up a very steep driveway with a curb, for example, then there won't be any issues using it with your Tesla's Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # 391TES317.
