Replacing The Air Shocks On My 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck

Question:

Is there a coil to air bag conversion kit for a stock 2009 ram 1500? There was one question and answer on a 2009 but it had a 2 inch lift. I am running air shocks right now but that is not enough capacity for my camper.

The Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit - Rear Axle, part # F2595, will work on your 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. This is NOT a direct replacement for your factory air shocks, nor do we offer any direct replacement. However, I did confirm with Firestone that they will work with your existing factory air shocks. They are rated to have up to 3,000 of load leveling capacity. It will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity, but it will help your truck by offering more support under load, making it harder to bottom out you suspension, and helping with your truck's handling.
