The Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit replaces your factory rear coils with adjustable air springs that add up to 3,000 lbs of load-leveling support. With air pressure set between 5 psi and 100 psi, you can dial in the firmness you need to keep the truck level, steering steady, and braking responsive under load.
Hauling weight doesn’t have to mean a bouncy or harsh ride. The tapered-sleeve rubber design of these air springs absorbs road shock and softens the contact between axle and frame, helping reduce bottoming out on rough pavement or gravel. By cushioning bumps and distributing pressure evenly across the axle, these springs help the truck feel planted and composed even when loaded down.
Loads aren’t always perfectly balanced, and that’s where individual inflation valves come in. Each side can be adjusted manually to level off-center weight like campers, toolboxes, or trailers with uneven tongue weight. This flexibility helps maintain even tire wear and more stable handling whether you’re towing, hauling, or running empty.
These helper springs use the factory coil spring retainers for a solid fit that works with your existing suspension geometry. The rubber air springs are built for maximum durability and leak-free performance, preventing permanent sagging or friction in the suspension over time. Work great and easy to install. Only issue is with the Bluetooth connecting to ECU on pump, but the airbags are great.
