Rear Suspension Enhancement Options 2022 Ram 1500 That Does Not Require Cutting Off Jounce Bracket

Question:

First off thank you for making the video because now I am second guessing getting air bags. My question is do all trucks require to cut after removing the jounce to do the install?? I have a 2022 RAM 1500 4X4. Thank you.

Yes, if you are wanting to use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88375 on your 2022 Ram 1500 you will have to cut off the jounce bumper bracket. We do have some other options for adding support to the rear suspension on your Ram if you do not want to remove the bracket.

First the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs will connect right to the bracket. These can be acquired with 1,000LB Capacity # SSR-307-40 or 1,500LB Capacity # SSR-307-47. Best of all they never require adjustment or maintenance and easily bolt in place of the factory jounce bumper.

If you want the adjustability of air the Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit # F2595 will allow you to replace the factory coil springs for air springs. For these springs I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ. This will allow you to wirelessly control the air pressure in each spring from the included controller or from a smart phone using the Air Lift app. It has a smart manifold that will also monitor pressure in the springs while you drive and make adjustments if the pressure should change by more than 3psi.
