Will the etrailer hitch e98840 affect the lift gate function on a 2021 Honda pilot?

A vehicle like your 2021 Honda Pilot that has lift gate sensors has several of these positioned along the rear bumper. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98840 which is a fit for a 2021 Honda Pilot does still allow for the hands free liftgate to function with the hitch installed. This is the only hitch for this vehicle that allows for this without an additional relocation bracket. While the sensor will function, you may need to swing your foot to from side to side in order to activate it.
