I need a trailer hitch for my 2022 Ford Escape to haul a bike rack, what's the best option?

I suggest the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C23FR. This is a Class III - 2", custom fit hitch designed specifically for the Ford Escape. This bolt-on installation comes complete with needed hardware kit and installation instructions included. This hitch will not interfere with the hands free action of opening the tailgate. You will of course need to go to the left or right side of the hitch to use that hands free set up, but it still works.

This hitch is rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs. and a maximum tongue weight of 525 lbs. Please refer to your vehicle specific owners manual for the limitations of your 2022 Ford Escape.
