Question:
I have a 99 f250 super duty Ford 4x4 power stroke and I was wondering how long is the sumo spring in the Blue version for the front axle? How long is it from the top plate where it bolts up to the bottom of the pad, so I can measure the distance I have now. Also if the blue is the way to go I just want to support I dont want to too much lift or anything. Would you go with the blue 1000 lb or the black 1500 lb ? Also are they the same length? Thank you

I had the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Spring # SSF-103-40 measured and it will be 5-1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the spring to the top of the bracket. The blue # SSF-103-40 will also measure the same as the black # SSF-103-47.
Deciding between the two will depend on how much support you need. Between the two, however, I would go with the blue # SSF-103-40. This will affect the ride less than the more heavy duty black version. If you are carrying a lot of weight and need the extra support though, the black # SSF-103-47 will be the better option.
