I would be happy to recommend a brake controller with a control knob for your 2017 Lexus GX460. We have two options for wiring harnesses for your vehicle depending on the whether or not your Lexus has the towing package.

I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller item # RED44FR. This is a proportional brake controller with an adjustment knob that can be installed anywhere on your vehicles dash or console. If your vehicle does not have the tow package you will need to hardwire into your vehicle's wiring and then plug directly into the main unit.

If your Lexus has the towing package you will need the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers item # 3040-S. This will connect the wires of the harness to your brake controller and then plug the other end into the built-in port beneath your vehicle's dash. This will allow you to simply plug the brake controller in without cutting into your vehicles wiring system.
