2020 Lexus GX 460 Brake Controller and Wiring Recommendations

I have a 2020 Lexus GX 460 that didn’t come from the factory with a tow package but I’ve since installed the oem tow hitch. Should I use the version for with factory tow hitch or without factory tow hitch?

You need to use a brake controller designed for your 2020 Lexus GX 460 as if it didn't have the factory tow package because the factory tow package options plug into pre-existing wiring.

For a brake controller setup on your GX 460 I recommend the following:

- ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT
- Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7
- No-Drill Mount Bracket # 18136
- Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR
- Universal Wiring Pigtail # RED69FR

If you already have a 4-Way wiring connector then you won't need the ZCI wiring kit. I really like the Liberty brake controller because it can be installed virtually anywhere and then the control knob is small and out of the way so it won't be taking up space in your cab.
