Can the 12V Wire on 7-Way Power a Scooter Lift

Question:

Can I power a scooter lift from the 12v black wire that is normally for a battery charger. How much amperage can I draw safely from this terminal?

The answer to this will depend on your scooter lift. The 12V wire can be used to power your scooter lift but it will be limited by the fuse in your vehicle. From what I was able to find, this is a 30 Amp fuse in the 2019 Honda Pilot. I would double check the owner's manual just to make sure. As long as the only thing drawing power from the wire is the scooter lift, and the scooter lift does not use more than 30 Amps, you should be able to use it. If you exceed this you will blow the fuse.
