What Hitch And Wire Harness Do I Use for A 2021 Lexus RX350?

Hi. Just got a 2021 Lexus RX350 and want to add a tow hitch. The vehicle does NOT have the factory installed tow package. In addition, the car DOES have the optional kick sensor for the rear hatch opening and closing. What hitch do you have available that would work in my situation? What wiring kit should I use? Thank you!!

Hello for your 2021 Lexus RX350 we have the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # C73DR, it is a confirmed fit for your Lexus. Installation guide linked below.

It will work with your kick sensor; you just need to move your foot to either side of the hitch receiver so the sensor will pick up the movement.

For a wire harness we have the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56217.

I would suggest getting a No-Drill Long Mounting bracket # 18136 and a 4-Pole Flat Mounting Bracket # 18144. To keep your wire harness safe and out of the way while not in use.

You will also need a hitch ball mount and ball. We have a Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches # C45534 to make things convenient.
