The pin-end of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat # C62VR where your trailer plugs into your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee is often connected on the outside of the vehicle so it is accessible by the hitch receiver. However, if you are talking about the location of the converter box, it definitely should be inside of the vehicle to avoid the elements. Rainwater and snow can cause damage to the box.

If you need a mount, I recommend the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket - Short # 18140 along with the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144.
