Good question and we can definitely get you set up with the better option between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13293 and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023. There are a few important differences to take note of, which is their visibility, clearances, and install.
Let's start with the visibility, as the Draw-Tite has a hidden crosstube, while the Curt hitch has a visible crosstube, so you're going to see the entire body of the Curt hitch, so the Draw-Tite allows a much cleaner aesthetic.
The clearances are also important, and due to how both hitches fit, the Draw-Tite # 76023 has much better bumper and ground clearances than the Curt # C13293. When we installed both hitches on an Acadia we found the Draw-Tite had 1-1/4" better bumper clearance and 1-3/4" better ground clearance.
The other difference is the installation, as the Draw-Tite is going to be more difficult than the Curt, but that is the only aspect in which the Curt has the upper hand, and it only gets installed once. So due to the advantages in both clearance and looks, I definitely recommend the Draw-Tite:
- Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76023
Additionally, if you plan on doing some towing and need a trailer wiring harness, the correct bracket and harness are the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 and T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118720.
