This hitch gives you the versatility to tow and carry more of what matters. With a 2" x 2" receiver opening and a Class III rating, it’s built for real-world use — tow up to 5,000 lbs gross trailer weight (6,000 lbs when used with weight distribution) and handle up to 500 lbs of tongue weight (600 lbs with weight distribution). Great quality, easy installation
Perfect Alignment! All the bolt holes lined up correctly, easy to install even for someone who doesn't do things like this very often. It's great that the bumper cover goes back on to hide the hitch when not in use and the entire assembly in completely concealed. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Great Product! This was pretty easy to install. My husband & I installed it together in about an hour. The hardest thing was fishing the carriage bolts through. It's a good thing there are 2 wires included in the kit, the first one broke on us. Other than that, I am very happy with how easy it was to install. The price is a good deal.

Correct product came fast and installation was easy
I purchased this product to install on my 2017 Buick Enclave as we were going on vacation to the beach and the vehicle was not equipped with a hitch so we could use our rear rack that requires a hitch receiver. I watched a video online and that made this product was very to install. Probably took less than an hour. Very satisfied.

Hitch was very easy to install and fit perfect with most of it not showing. Directions were simple, easy to read and follow. I decided to trim the plastic panel and replace it around the receiver for a more finished look.
I purchased this hitch for my enclave. the etrailer site allowed me to just enter my vehicle details and it told me which one i need and provided a video and picture of how it worked and looked. Great site, easy to use and the hitch was excellent and sturdy as well. I decided in the end not to put it on as it is in the high 90's here in Florida. Just didn't feel like crawling under the truck. However I did talk to the mechanic shop that installed it for me and they said it is one of the easier after market hitches and wiring kits they ever installed. I used Christian Brothers Automotive in North Port Fl who were just fantastic as well.

I received the trailer hitch receiver on the time promised . I also, received the package in good quality secure packaging. That’s a plus for me! The hitch , the hardware, Grade A top notch . I looked over the video on their website and instructions in packaging and it all worked as well as I anticipated. 1 note - my muffler has 2 rubber mounts on each side to drop the muffler . Make sure you use a strap to hold up muffler so that it doesn’t drop or damage .

Perfect fit!! No additional parts needed. I took the bumper cover off instead of trying to move the exhaust out of the way. This necessary if you plan to run a wiring harness and brake control anyway.
Received via UPS quickly and well packaged. Took me about 45 minutes to install, and was simple to do. I was fearful of having to fish the bolt, but it worked flawlessly with the included wire. My torque wrench wouldn’t fit in the furthest bolt (I only took one exhaust suspension off in each side), but I’m confident it’s to the specification with a normal long handled driver.
I could not be more pleased with this hitch. I bought a similar product from the large river women website and it came missing bolts. This one came with everything needed to install. Installed on a 2012 Chevy Traverse. Had no problem with the screws going in and some people have said the disconnection of the exhaust was difficult I had no problem disconnecting and reconnecting. I'd say the most difficult part was getting the bolts in for the back part since my bumper did not have pre-installed bolts for the back part. But other than that everything went smooth and definitely recommend.

Installation was just as described in the videos. The thing that took the longest was getting the locktite from a previous installation out of the threads from a previously installed hitch on my vehicle. Took a couple of hours. Shipping was fast!

Simple to install on 2017 Chevrolet Traverse all parts needed to assemble were shipped in one package wiring went on easy after watching video on how to install both hitch and wiring fuses were included overall went smoothly do recommend driving vehicle's rear wheels on to ramps to drop rear exhaust other then that piece of cake
Installation wasn't bad, and pretty much what the instructions said for a 2010 Traverse LS. The hardest part was probably chasing the rust out of the threads in the mounting holes since the road salt hadn't been kind to them and I bought it used. Lots of penetrating oil and going back and forth on the bolts to get them to thread in. I did need to grind the access holes slightly to get the heads of the mounting bolts through. I had better luck putting the spacers in place first, then threading the fish wire through the spacer and the mounting hole to pull the bolts in place. There's enough room to get the bolts past each other in the channel. Leave the fish wires attached to the bolts until the hitch is in place. Removing the muffler hangers will make it much easier to get to the mounting bolts on. All told, it took me probably 1.5 hours, but I was working by myself, and the first half hour was spent just getting the mounting holes clear.

The trailer hitch mount was crushed in a violent 4 car pile up. The good news is that it absorb the crash and save my auto (brand new ) for extensive damage and protected my 3 granddaughters that were riding with me.
I got my son to install the hitch and wiring for me. Everything fit perfectly and the bumper hitch cover on my 2015 Buick Enclave still fit fine. I am sending photos of the hitch installed and and wth the hitch cover hiding it.

Yes the curt trailer hitch reliever was easy to install as you said that it would be. I was pushed for time and had to do it at night in the cold weather, but it was done in time to pick-?? my uhaul to load and head to Pittsburgh the next day. Thank you for sending it out so soon. Your website was easy to use. Product was just what I needed for my 2012 Enclave.
I mean, it’s a receiver - hard to mess that up. It’s custom for the Acadia to fit around the spare tire and still sit behind the bumper cover. Welds look good and it’s a solid unit. There was some heavy scratches and missing paint on the opening of the receiver tube, but that may have happened during shipping (doubt it, but possible). Easy fix, but one reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Comes with all the hardware to install and even extra if your vehicle’s bumper doesn’t have weld-nuts (mine did). It also only mounts with 2 bolts per side on the frame, not 3 like the factory receiver had. So that’s disappointing on Curt’s part, and another reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Wasn’t super thrilled about UPS’s tracking status updates - it failed to update on the day of delivery so I wasn’t sure if I was going to receive it on he expected day or not, but that’s certainly not a Curt or E-Trailer issue. And I guess between UPS and FEDEX, I’d much rather have E-Trailer ship UPS.
Installation of the actual receiver was a breeze. I was disappointed that there isn’t a spot to mount the plug for the trailer lights, but a quick run to my local parta store and I picked up a mounting bracket and new plug. Came with self-taping screws so I was able to attack it to the exposed part of the bumper. (Mounting it along the bottom edge of the receiver tube would have made it hang down too low, but also obstruct the spare tire.
Overall, I’m really happy with it, and E-trailers customer service was outstanding.

Hey Hilary. We do carry a few different wiring mounting brackets depending on what style of plug you have. For a 4-flat you can use part # C58303, for a 7-way you can use part # PK12711U. These are the most common types but we do carry other types as well.

Well, a year later, the products I purchased and installed are as good as new. I dont tow a lot but everything is holding up great! Ive told many people about your website and recommended your products especially the Curt of course so thanks for representing a great brand!
