For the Curt Coupler Repair Kit for 1-7/8" Curt Channel Couplers # C25094, you need a pin no larger than 3/8". For this measurement, I recommend the Bulldog Easy Access Coupler Lock - Swivel Head - Chrome # BD580409. I attached a picture with the measurement of the pin hole.
