It is under the back bed. And has a removable panel above the heater. Can I replace it myself?

Yes you can replace your water heater element. The Camco Water Heater Element - Screw-In - 1500 Watts - 120 Volts. part # CAM02143, is a replacement element for many water heater brands. There are a few things you need to know before you get started. You need to make sure the wattage, voltage, and flange style are the same on the heating element you are replacing and the existing one. The only tools you will need are a phillps head screw driver and a screw-in element wrench.
