A little slow to heat the water but otherwise seems to work fine. If we are showering, I switch to propane and back after.

Exactly what I needed, perfect fit. Got my water heater back up and running.
Was sold as a replacement for my SW6DE however is much smaller than the original. I wish etrailer stocked the correct replacement, which you can find by searching for "Suburban 520900" which is an 11" 1440 Watt element, vs this 6" 1500W element.

I had a dumbass attack one day and thought I had water in the water heater. NOPE! I still had the gas side, but I like running both when I'm going to shower. Recovers faster. Anyway, yes, this item went in easy and is still working fine. I will never turn on the heater again unless I KNOW there's water in it!
This was the exact replacement for the element that was in my Suburban water heater. Installation was easy with a few household tools and a 1 1/2 inch element wrench.

Heat element is working great One year later.
Just what I needed to get my electric water distiller running again!
Delivery time a little longer than I expected and couldn't get any tracking.
I needed this replacement because I burned-out the original heating element by accidentally applying power to it while the tank was empty. Installing this replacement part was straitforward. I was fortunate to have a socket wrench of the proper size. It has been in service for a year and I have had no problems with the part so far. I use my RV for about 6 months each year, and the other 6 months the water heater is drained and dry. The OEM element was about 10 years old when I damaged it. I hope this replacement will last at least that long.
