Review of the Prest-O-Fit RV Outdoor Rug

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we are looking at our Presto fit RV outdoor rug here at etrailer. Some situations you might use this in is when you want to take a break from your RV and just go outside and enjoy nature. But what if nature is a little bit rocky, a little bit muddy, a little bit wet. This is a nice rug.

You can just set it out and then you don't have to worry about getting all those rocks as well as just having a nice place to relax. Having a patio rug is amazing for picnics, barbecues, even tailgating. If you want to put this behind your truck or your vehicle it's nice because then you can set out all of your gear. I have my camping chair out and I don't have to worry about sinking into the mud. The turf carpet is still smooth enough that you can walk on it barefoot without it being too prickly, you can also have your pets run around or your children crawl on the carpet and not have to worry about the rocks oR getting muddy.

This has solid marine backing underneath the rug, and this will help prevent dirt or mud seeping through the rug. The edges are sewn in to prevent frayed edges which would help them last a little bit longer. Now, if you are kind of tough on the edges it may fray a little bit but the entire rug should stay sturdy. In each corner is a grommet, and this will be used with your stakes or your tie down points. Those come separately.

So you can pick them up here at Of course, before getting this rug please check with your campground rules and regulations. Some require that you have a breathable mat only and you can find that here with the arrow weave but also if they do allow patio rugs this can be a great option for you. Just double check their rules. And if you do get some dirt or spill on your rug it's really easy to just hose it off and let it air dry out in the sun.

Now let's talk about storage. Now, when you are done with a rug you can roll it up or fold it. If you are gonna fold it I highly recommend getting a second pair of hands. Have your friend or your family help you out with folding it since it is a large rug. It does not come with a storage case, so just keep that in mind as you're getting ready to store it. I have this laid out onto the ground and it does help cause it is really rocky and protects me from that. But if you have it on the grass, you can use stakes and just stake it to the ground to keep it flat. What I do here is I weigh it down. And if you look at the other Presto fit, surface mat, rugs they have different types of mounting hardware that will work with your rugs. You can purchase different mounting hardware separately here at etrailer. My final thoughts about this rug is I do like how it is weather resistant. Even if it's raining outside the water just beads up and slides away. Also, it is really nice to just lay out. If you do have rocks and mud outside and it makes a nice resting mat to rest on or to have whatever parties you want to have. It's really up to you, how you can use it. Just know it's a versatile and it will work as a great outdoor mat. And that was a look here at our Presto fit RV outdoor rug here at etrailer..
