i have a old trike bike vw with 15 inch rims on back 4 lug the snap ring measures in center of hub is around 91/2 across wil these baby moons cap work

The Americana Baby Moon Trailer Wheel Center Cap, part # AM90086, is intended for 13-, 14- and 15-inch conventional 5-lug trailer wheels. Since your VW Trike wheels are 15 inches and have roughly a 9-1/2 inch snap ring around the hub, these 9-1/2-inch center caps may work.

I have provided a link to one of the 15-inch wheels we offer that this center cap fits. I have also included a photo of the wheel with measurements that I took from a sample in our warehouse. You can compare these to your wheels to see if the fit looks close. The inside-edge to inside-edge distance is 7-1/4 inches; the outside-edge to outside-edge distance is 9 inches; the outside-edge to the outside of one of the three nubs is 9-1/4 inches.

I also pulled a sample of the baby moon center cap, part # AM90086, and took a measurement of the diameter of the back edges that snap onto the three nubs on the wheel. Please refer to the second photo provided. The inside-to-inside measurement is 9-1/4 inches. The cap is 2-1/2 inches deep at its center.
I did test fit this on the above wheel and it fits snugly.

@KellyA If the wheels on your Oldsmobile have the nubs that hold the moon center cap, and they measure 9 inches across the outside of those nubs, then yes it should fit. Please take a look at the dimensioned photograph in the article you commented on.
