I recommend replacing your discontinued Tie Down Engineering LP7000 with the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Disc Brakes - 2" Ball - Zinc Plated - 7,500 lbs # 099-175-20 you were looking at. This actuator is designed for Disc brakes like you have on your Ameratrail bass boat trailer, and will work perfectly with tandem axles.
