I have a 2017 jeep renegade trailhawk Comparing with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 at a reported 9 3/4” clearance, What is the clearance with this Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4 Thanks

With the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12142 installed on your 2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk you will have roughly 10-1/4" clearance.

Since the ground clearance will be very similar to that of the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 76021 you had looked at I recommend going with the # 76021. The reason for this is it has a 2" receiver which is always our recommendation when available due to there being quite a few more accessories available for this size receiver.

If you are planning on towing a trailer with your Renegade you will need a vehicle wiring harness # 118651 along with a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
