How Much Does Weigh Safe True Tow Weight Distribution Hitch Weigh

Question:
How much does the hitch assembly weigh with the 2-1/2” x 10” shank, head, and 2-5/16 ball? I can’t find that info. And I’m old! These things look heavy I don’t leave the hitch on the truck when not pulling the camper.

Hi John; that's alright I couldn't find it either so I spoke with Weigh Safe to get the information for you. The head assembly on the # WS64RR weighs 35 lbs. The 2-1/2" shank is 32 lbs, and the spring bars weigh 21-1/2 lbs each.

Hey John, did that weight breakdown from Weigh Safe help you figure out how easy it’ll be to remove the hitch from your truck? Knowing how that worked out could really help others trying to manage the same setup.
