How Level Does a Tow Bar Need to Be When Flat Towing a Vehicle
Published 07/28/2021 >
Question:
How much height difference between the towing vehicle hitch and the towed vehicle tow bar mounts can there be? Or how level do the tow bars need to be when hooked up?

This is a really good question. So a tow bar needs to be 3 inches with level going either direction. So 3 inches up on the towed vehicle side or 3 inches up on the tow vehicle side.
Most likely you will also need a high low adapter so that the tow bar will be level when you are flat towing. I attached a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry.
