For your 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e75ZR due to it having a hidden crosstube meaning that once installed only the receiver itself will be visible, but also due to it having a 500lb tongue weight rating and 5000lb trailer weight rating making it plenty capable of towing a trailer. The matte black powder coat finish blends in very nice to the black trim on your Highlander.

Moving on to a wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha # TK99FR which is a plug and play installation so you will not need to splice in to any of your factory wiring.

Lastly to complete your towing setup you will also need a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
