Question:

I have a 2012 dodge 3500 8ft bed . I have the mounting rails all I need are the brackets to mount the rails.

If you have Curt above the bed 5th wheel rails like in kit # C16420-104 that you have referenced then the correct brackets for a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 long bed are # C16420. However, if you have rails from a different manufacturer, you have to match the bracket manufacturer with the rail manufacture.

You cannot mix manufacturers because the parts have not been tested together and the capacity of the system will be unknown.

I have included a link to the installation instructions for the C16420 brackets for you. If you do have a different set of rails, let me know the manufacturer and I can recommend the correct brackets.
