Can I Use SumoSprings On My 2019 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel With Lift Blocks or Lift Shackles?

Question:
I have a 2019 Chevy Colorado Z71 4X4 with the diesel engine. I would like to install a 1.5 inch block lift in the rear of the truck along with the sumo springs. Will I be able to install a block lift with the sumo springsinch Would it be better to use a shackle lift instead?

Expert Reply:
I recommend using a lift block with the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS75FR on your 2019 Chevrolet Colorado Diesel. The lift blocks will add the lift between your leaf springs and the axle allowing your factory suspension which the SumoSprings were designed for to continue to operate as normal.
If you used lift shackles it would raise the leaf spring away from the frame causing the SumoSprings to not contact the frame when the suspension begins to flex.
