Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Load: Up to 2,000 lbs of Rear-Axle Support

Heavy loads can make the rear of your vehicle sag, throwing off steering, braking, and headlight aim. The Air Lift Ride Control air helper springs add up to 2,000 lbs of load-leveling support to keep your ride level and stable. By reducing strain on your factory suspension, you maintain even tire wear, better steering response, and safer braking when hauling or towing.

Dial In Just the Right Ride: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi

Every load is different, so it helps to fine-tune your suspension for each trip. These air springs let you manually adjust pressure between 5 psi and 100 psi to get the support you need. Inflate each spring independently to correct side-to-side lean or keep the vehicle level front to rear. Manual inflation valves are typically mounted on the bumper for easy access, and you can add an onboard compressor system later if you want automatic control.

Smooth Out the Bumps: Better Stability and Ride Quality

Road shock and sway can wear you out on long hauls. With the Ride Control kit between your frame and leaf springs, every mile feels steadier. The air springs absorb bumps and reduce sway for a smoother ride whether you're towing a trailer or carrying uneven cargo in the bed. That added stability helps your vehicle feel planted on highways, curves, or rough patches.

Built Right and Easy to Install: Complete Kit with Alignment Tool

You don’t need a shop full of tools to get this system installed. The Ride Control kit includes two air springs, mounting brackets, hardware, tubing, Schrader valves for manual inflation, and an exclusive alignment tool that helps center each spring perfectly between the frame and leaf spring. That precise fit prevents rubbing on underbed components so your suspension support lasts as long as your truck does. Add air through the accessible valves, check pressure with a simple gauge, and hit the road knowing your suspension is dialed in for the load ahead.

This kit is exactly what I wanted. The weight of my trailer tongue varies between 150# and 300#, depending on the loading of the trailer. I need the ability to account for the trailer tongue weight. This air lift kit allows me to easily level the truck with air pressure to account for various loads whether in the truck or trailer. PS - ETrailer.com is the place to purchase. They are an excellent business with great support.

I bought these to take the bounce out of the truck when pulling my front end heavy enclosed trailer. Worked fantastic. Kit came with everything needed and only took about 30 minutes to install.

2024 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss. These Airbags far exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward and took less than an hour to install.
I carry a lot of tools and equipment in my bed and these airbags keep my truck level. I put 30 PSI in each bag and haven’t lost any pressure in 2 months since they were installed.
I highly recommend this product. Also awesome Customer service when ordered

Great experience working with everyone at etrailer. Very helpful and attentive to what I needed. Thanks again to all of their team!

2015 Chevrolet Colorado
Install these on my 2015 Chevy Colorado. I pull a fairly big travel trailer and although it's no problem pulling it I had noticed that over the last couple of years the rear of the truck was gradually sagging more. The AirLift fixed it right up.
The ride now inspires more confidence and I definitely have more control over the whole rig.
Installation was fairly easy. I'm pretty handy but quite green when it comes to vehicles so I would say it's accessible to anyone with a handy thumb. I even managed to install them without removing the wheels. It took a bit longer and required more up and down with the car jack but since I did it a couple of hours at a time over a couple of days it allowed me to still drive during the installation process.
I'm am a huge fan and would recommend it to anyone.

Had fun with a few friends installing this. A good garage day. Instructions are easy to follow. If you have basic mechanical skills you can do this.
Just going to help my Colorado pull our Camper.

Love it. Fits great. Shipping was about awful. But got in the nick of time to get it installed. Very easy to put together took me about 30-45 min

Needed to take a couple inches of sag out of my Colorado for 5,000 pound travel trailer. Installation took only a couple hours and the difference in tow capabilities was immediate.
Normally use my truck for construction and now keeping it at 20 pounds when I’m hauling tools or materials made the ride much firmer and smooth. Love it.

2015 Chevrolet Colorado
These were perfect. I needed some extra suspension due to towing my max capability. (6400lb gross wt 24 foot trailer with a 2015 Chevy Colorado LT 4wd) The truck had too much "bounce" on it every Time when hit a hole in the road even with equalization bars. But these air bags smoothed the ride out and help with equalization. Installation was a breeze. Did it myself in 2 hours with 0 problems. Kit comes with all you need minus the compressor assembly. I used Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Hand-Held Remote - Single Path Item # AL25870. (Eliminates need for cab wiring And works great) . All in all, Great product, Great price, easy installation and no problems.

2019 ZR 2- I bought these air bags when I replaced the rear shocks 50K miles. I sometimes pull a trailer and wanted a little better ride. WOW! I wish I had installed these when I bought the truck. Total game changer.

I bough these about a year ago for my 2015 Chevy Colorado and they work great. Install was easy. I would recommend purchasing an onboard compressor to fill them and adjust on the fly.

2015 Chevrolet Colorado
I ran this Air Lifters a 2015 Chevy Colorado and loved them. That in particular I had a 2 inch leveler on the front and the Air Lift on the rear kept the truck at the right height when a load was being pulled. I also ran 15-20 pounds in them on that daily and the ride was noticeably better.

Now fast forward to present time I have a 2023 Chevy Colorado and just finished the install today. Easy installation and the same quality as the last set. There is no reason not to run these on a truck in my opinion. The overall ride improvement is noticeable.

2019 Chevrolet Colorado
Installation on a chevy colorado went smoothly. The video on the etrailer web site was very helpfull. The air levelers removed 90% of the trailer bounce I was experiencing with out them.
by:
2016 Chevrolet Colorado
I’m sure it’s a fine product but despite the fact that the website says “no drill installation” it required drilling the frame of the truck which was something I was not willing to do. Customer service at etrailer was awesome. They acknowledged the error, arranged a return free of charge and assisted me with finding another manufacturer’s product and contacting them directly to verify a no drill installation. Excellent job with the customer service. Product itself, not so much.

It can be common for the bags to leak at the fitting. This is due to the air line not being cut square. We do sell an air line cutter part # AL10530 to help with that.

The installation was easy on my 2024 GMC Canyon. I have a Leer fiberglass topper with a large full bed slide out full of heavy tools. What a difference the Airlift system is overall. It is adjustable for the specific load and there is no change in the ride quality. Could not be more pleased with the purchase.
by:
These springs have reduced body roll tremendously ( especially turning in and out of service stations) and have actually made the ride smoother. 9,000 miles so far so good

  • Is There a 2017 Chevy Colorado Air Bag Kit?
Hey Vince, thanks for reaching out! **UPDATE IN COMMENT SECTION** The Air Lift Ride Control # AL59533 won't fit your 2017 Chevy Colorado with the diesel engine because of something that has to do with the frame of your truck being in the way. I don't have any photos or anything, but that's why Air Lift lists it as not fitting. There aren't any air bag kits that work, but the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS75FR are confirmed to fit with the diesel engine and they are the next...

  • What Rear Air Bags and Onboard Air Compressor do I Need for My 2025 GMC Canyon Denali 4X4?
Hello Jeff, Congrats on the new Canyon Denali!! What is your favorite new feature? You’ll want the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL59533. They have a 2,000-pound leveling capacity, which is more than enough for the Canyon Denali since that’s higher than its maximum payload capacity. • Air Bag System For 2020 Chevy Colorado ZR2
Hi Jason! We do indeed have an air bag option for your 2020 Chevy Colorado with the ZR2 package. Check out the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL59533. The only option this will not fit is the diesel, so as long you have the gas model ZR2, you are good to go. On the flip side, if you do have a diesel, there doesn't look to be any air bag options for some reason. In this case, I recommend going with the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4617....

  • Why Wont Air Lift Ride Control Fit on a 2017 GMC Canyon with Diesel Engine
I do have a solution for you, but when I spoke with my contact at Air Lift she said that the frame on your 2017 GMC Canyon with the diesel engine is slightly different. Because of this the Ride Control # AL59533 you referenced doesn't line up properly. They currently don't have an adapter but I do have an alternative solution for you. The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-212-40 are a great option in place of any kind of air suspension enhancement. These are made of a durable...

  • Will Timbren Helper Springs Cushion Ride of 2018 Chevy Colorado when Towing with Weight Distribution
It is possible that the weight distribution system you are using is rated too high for the total tongue weight of the trailer. Total tongue weight is the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle in your 2018 Chevy Colorado. So for example if the trailer tongue weight is 500 pounds and you have 40 pounds of stuff behind the rear axle the total tongue weight would be 540 pounds. The 750 pound Blue Ox systems are rated...

  • What Precautions Must Be Used With Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59533 Using a Lift?
According to Air Lift if you are only raising the vehicle off the ground for a short amount of time the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59533 should be reduced to 5psi to reduce tension on the air springs. If the vehicle will be raised by the frame for a long period of time jacks or straps should be used on the axle to prevent damage to the air springs. If not supported over a long period of time the air springs could become damaged.

They don't interfere with each other, and they make a really good combination. We have air bag suspension enhancement that fits your 2018 Chevy Colorado from Firestone but Air Lift does not have any kits for your truck including the one you mentioned.
