Recommended Replacement For A Coleman-Mach Airxcel 47000 Series 15,000 BTU AC System

Question:

We have a 2015 Tiffin Phaeton with a Airxcel 47000 series A/C 15000 BTU that needs to be replaced. Which models do you sell that would be a replacement and what type of modifications wiring, thermostat, etc... would be needed?

The Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - 15,000 Btu - Ducted - Black Item # AT15033-22 will replace your current Coleman-Mach Airxcel 47000 series system. It will require you to replace your thermostat but this system comes with one and also a remote to control your unit. I've attached a link to the installation instructions for you in the email as well.

On this topic, I have a 2017 Thor Venetian with the same units, however I have the firefly multiplex control system and do not have a separate thermostat unit. Will these work with the multiplex controls?

@JayQ Hey Jay, we no longer carry Atwood units, as well as them no longer being in business. I am not sure if any are still available, but from what I was able to look up about them it may be possible, it is just going to be a complex workaround to get it to work. Since they are no longer in business I recommend looking for a different brand unit. One that I know will be able to work with your controls is the GE Appliances # GE95ZR.
