Question:
I have an older Draw Tite 10000 lb hitch 03649 V-5 with short 1000 lb spring bars. Are the longer spring bars available? Do you have them? thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
There aren't any replacement spring bars for your current weight distribution hitch, so if you need longer bars, the best thing to do is get a new 10,000 lb system. For that you can go with an option that has sway control, or if you don't need sway control, you can go with a standard weight distribution hitch.
The best option for a 10,000 lb system is from Curt:
- No Sway Control: Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System # C24UR
- With Sway Control: Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17500
The TruTrack comes with a hitch ball, but if you go with the Trunnion Style # C24UR you will need to get the hitch ball separately, with the correct one being 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # A-6.
I've added links below to video reviews of both system to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
