The Thule Helium 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Wheel Mount, part # TH44VR, is compatible with your 2" hitch receiver. There are two 2021 Tesla Model Y hitch receivers. The Tesla factory rack hitch receiver has a maximum tongue weight of 150lbs. Torklift also makes a hitch receiver for your vehicle. The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # EH39FR, will fit your 2021 Tesla Model Y. Its maximum tongue weight is 350lbs. The maximum tongue weight is the maximum weight you can carry in your hitch receiver. This means the weight of the rack added to the weight of the bikes you are carrying cannot exceed your hitch receiver's maximum tongue weight.
It weighs 43lbs, so it is fairly light for a platform hitch bike rack. It can handle bikes up to 37.5lbs each. The bikes are held by the wheels, which protects the frame of the bicycle. It comes with an anti-rattle hitch bolt to eliminate movement between the hitch bike rack and the hitch receiver. The rack can be tilted downward, with or without bikes, so you can still access the rear of your vehicle. You can lock the rack to your vehicle and you can the lock your bikes to the rack.
