This hitch gives you full towing strength without changing the look of your vehicle. The cross tube sits behind the body, completely out of sight, and the 2" x 2" receiver stays hidden behind the factory knockout panel when not in use. When you’re done towing or hauling, just pop the panel back on and keep that clean, from-the-factory appearance.
Whether you’re pulling a small trailer or loading up a bike rack or cargo carrier, this hitch has the strength to handle it. It’s rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs. It’s built and tested to meet SAE J684 towing standards so you can count on safe performance trip after trip.
The EcoHitch uses a combination of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel to create a sturdy yet lightweight alloy made from recycled materials. This design reduces environmental impact during manufacturing while providing serious durability on the road. The black powder coat finish adds extra protection against rust and wear for long-term reliability.
You don’t need special tools or a lift to put this hitch on. It bolts directly to the frame with no drilling or welding required. The design lines up with existing factory mounting points for an easier install that fits right the first time.

Hitch has been great so far after a year. I also installed a Tekonsha 118875 trailer hitch wiring harness which works great.

After a year product is still working great. Buy a hitch extender and just leave that on there so you don’t need to mess with the pin in the tight space.

Yikes, I am sorry that it arrived looking like that. We got two options for you. Either we can get a replacement sent out to you. Or we can issue a paint credit and you can get some rustoleum type of paint to cover up all the chips and scrapes. As for the bend, hitches are made with a flexible metal to prevent any stress fractures while the hitch is attached to the vehicle. All you need to do is us a step and bend it back straight. I have a link below with all of this information, if you would prefer to not have to set up a replacement to ship out. Just let me know.

A year in and no problems with Ecohitch. On the Tesla its pretty concealed and out of the weather but when needed to haul my small trailer it works perfectly.
