Does Curt T-Connector C56293 For 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Require Factory Tow Package?

Question:

I’m being told that in order for the wiring harness to receive power and function I need to install a OEM tow package module, otherwise there will be now power to the plug that your aftermarket harness plugs into. Thank you for your assistance,

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56293 you were looking at for your 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged is designed for vehicles with the factory tow package. If you do not have the factory tow package then you will need to take your vehicle to your local Land Rover dealer and have them install the necessary components to activate the tow package.
