The only tricky part is cutting out the plastic fascia on the bottom of the Range Rover but if you measure twice and cut once you will be fine. Great product - highly recommended A+

Yes and yes and yes, it's everything they say it would be, super heavy duty and definitely easy to install, I did it with very minor help, actually I did it with just moral support and tool handing by my wife.
The most difficult part for me was cutting the plastic piece only because I was super sketched about it, in the end it looked flawless after I rasped the edges smooth. I definitely recommend this product.
Make sure you don't tighten any of the nuts until all four are in place and partway threaded, the alignment of all the holes is fairly precise, I wish the holes were slightly wider.
I didn't have a lift so I just raised the suspension to offload plus with my iidTool, but I could se how it would take under van hour with a lift. It took me a total of 1 and 15minutes to actually install the hitch receiver.

The holes were drilled in the wrong direction. I paid to have it installed and then realized the holes were wrong. etrailer gave me a very hard time about returning it, even after I sent them pictures as proof.
Use your local U-haul location to purchase and install your new hitch.
This hitch is very easy to install and an hour or two would have been fine other than one problem I added. The wiring harness is really, really close to the main, long bolt at the back of the hitch. When I tightened that bolt, I pinched and severed two small wires.
Ugh!
It's very tight in there so splicing was a bit of a project. However, this was my own fault.

It couldn't have been easier! My dealership wanted over $2000 to install a trailer hitch. I spent a couple hundred instead. And thanks to the pre-drilled and fitted hitch, along with video instructions from etrailer.com, I had it all done in under an hour.

Great hitch for the money! Super easy install after following a short video I found on youtube. I installed the hitch receiver myself but had the dealer install the Land Rover OEM wiring harness and reprogram the computer. The dealer tried to give me a hard time about using a non OEM receiver but once they got over it, they only did the wiring harness install and everything has worked out great... The best part... it saved me hundreds of dollars! I've since pulled my boat (malibu Wakesetter) several times with no issues at all. I would do it all over again if I needed to.

Thank you so much! As a side note, due to the weight of the hitch, the box it came in developed a few holes from shipping. Everything looks good though and I am having it installed tomorrow at a service shop that etrailer recommended. 5 Stars.

Great hitch, thick material, was slightly off lining up, would be nice if bolts were a little longer, was hard getting them started with it being slightly off.

I mounted this fairly easily. Needed a third hand only for a minute, otherwise it was truly a one person job. Tows my 4000lb boat/trailer with no issue.

While the construction of the hitch frame was pretty good, there were some tolerance issues I encountered. I had to use a sledge hammer to bend the tabs to the position they needed to be in to get the bolts aligned. I would definitely recommend that you start with the bolts closest to the back then work your way up. Once it was in, fit was great. I cut some holes in the lower trim that helped me reinstall the black cover on the bottom. Would have been nice to have a template that came along with it. and told you where to cut. Installation definitely wasn't a walk in the park but considering the price, worth it. Would definitely buy again.
Installation only took myself and a friend about 3 hours. We could've done this in an hour guaranteed if we'd had a lift. We were halfway through before I remembered that to raise the ride height of the Range Rover; a great feature to have. Working on our backs, with little room is the main reason that it took this long. That and the first time learning curve. If we had to do it again on the same model vehicle, we could do it in an hour. The only other thing is that the Curt trailer hitch receiver is installed easiest if the forward part is maneuvered up around the exhaust pipes first, followed by raising the back end in place and placing the center bolt to hold it in place while the forward two bolts are screwed in place and then the rear two bolts. I was unable to slide it in from the back as was demonstrated in the instructional video for the 2016 RR Sport. Additionally, once the hitch is in place, one has to cut a u shaped opening in the under-body shield and not a window as was shown in the video. The only way that a window will work is if the under-body shield is placed over that rear center piece (shown in one photo with my hand around it) and allowed to dangle while the hitch is positioned. That might prove annoying to do and we never attempted it.
