Question:
I have a 2020 GMC 1/2 ton 3.0 diesel with exhaust coming off the rear, how far do I need to be from the rock tamers mud flaps. Thanks

When installing Rock Tamer Mud Flaps, there is not an exact distance that it needs to be form the exhaust. If the exhaust on your truck is routed straight back then you will want to install Exhaust Outlets # ERT200 so that the exhaust is routed through the Rock Tamer Mud Flaps # ERT00108. If the exhaust is not extremely close or is not routed straight back, then the best route is to install Heat Shield Stainless Steel - Qty 1 # RT76FR on the exhaust side. This way the mud flaps will not be damaged from the exhaust heat.
