Question:
I have a 2005 Toyota Sequoia and it look like the H11143325 is the kit i Need. I want to make sure that I order the right kit. How and where is the factory plug in on my car for this kit? I am not sure where to look under my car to locate the factory plug in. Thank you

Expert Reply:
The ports the Hopkins # HM11143325 will plug in to will be under the bumper towards the driver side of the vehicle. This is designed to be used on a 2005 Sequoia that was originally equipped with a towing package. If you are unable to locate the ports or are unsure if the vehicle did have a factory towing package, you can call a Toyota dealer with your VIN and they should be able to tell you if it did or not.
If you do not end up having the factory tow package, you will need to install a 4 Flat, like the # C59496. To then get up to a 7 Way, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This does piggyback off the 4 Flat and will have everything needed to get you up to a 7 way.
